April 21 April 19/20Guelph show in Fergus:
Hannah took Best of Breed both days - she is long finished now as I believe she has 14 points!
Nothing in Group however
Magnus took Best Puppy in Breed on Saturday - the judge actually said if there was one dog he could take home with him from the show it would be Magnus! He lacks a certain confidence and showiness in the ring, but the judge saw through the bucking bronco routine and loved him anyway!!!
Jade got Best Puppy in Breed on Sunday - nothing in Puppy Group

August 29 And then there were 5!Well, it was a bittersweet weekend for everybody at the Big Blue House (BBH) as 5 of our puppies went to their homes. The good part of this is that they are all loving, wonderful homes and their people are just great!!!
So here's the way it all went down:

Well, everybody but Floyd is now 5lbs or over and I'm sure he'll be at that very soon. Everyone is now eating a mixture of kibble and soft food with water. They are very active and playing with each other and toys. They scatter when it's pen cleaning time. Tess is not feeding as often. It would appear that she is weaning them.
The pup in the photo sleeping on his back on my niece Piper's legs is Bruiser. I don't remember which boy on the couch had which pup...but this is what we've been doing for fun on a Saturday evening!!! Really, what 16/17 year old boy needs X-Box when you can cuddle a clean puppy? We're lucky to have all the kids and their friends around and so willing to join in. These will be very well socialized pups.
They all get a 'bath' (wiped down with a warm soapy cloth) post meals as they tend to get it all over them and like to be cuddled and put to sleep. Piper seems to be the best at putting the boys right out!! July 03 July 3, 2007Weights today: July 3rd

Tess is doing very well, tired but so far is a wonderful mother. April 14 Patryn visits!Well, we had an exciting couple of weeks as we had Hannah's brother Patryn for a visit. Actually, it was more of a working visit as he was here to get a breeding with Tess! And we (they?) were very successful. So all fingers and toes crossed, we should have a lovely litter of pups sometime in June! Many thanks to Brian and Lin for letting their lovely boy stay with us! January 20 Cuddling by the fireplace!Alright! I know, but this was just too cute not to share! After running and playing for hours in the cold and snow (finally! - I mean it is Canada), Rudy decided to join Hannah by the fireplace in my bedroom to thaw! Couldn't restist snapping some shots! Well, Tartan and Whiskey have made it to their 8th Birthdays and I thought I'd take some shots of them with the cupcakes that mom made for the occassion! However, I still seem to be a bit camera challenged and the pics have 'red eye' and lines...that I can't explain!
